Heater-Stat is a thermostatically controlled electrical outlet. It is designed to automatically turn on electrical devices such as an Oil Pan Heater, Battery Warmer or Block Heater when the ambient temperature drops below a pre-set temperature and turns the heater off when the temperature exceeds a pre-set temperature.
Heater-Stat plugs into a 120 vac electrical outlet and has two 120 vac receptacles. The maximum electrical load is 1800 watts, this would allow our largest oil pan heater (1000 watt, model TH1000-1) and our battery warmer (60 watt, model THB60-1) to be plugged in and operated at the same time.
When the ambient temperature falls below 35°F (2°C) the oil pan heater and the battery warmer will be automatically turned on and stay on until the ambient temperature exceeds 45°F (10°C). This reduces electrical usage and saves money.
